These terms govern your use of Fast Locksmith Surrey and the services we provide across Surrey, White Rock, Langley, and Delta. We've written them in plain language so you know exactly where you stand before we arrive.
Fast Locksmith Surrey is a licensed mobile locksmith service operating across Surrey and the surrounding South of the Fraser region — including White Rock, Langley, Delta, Ladner, Tsawwassen, and Cloverdale. These Terms of Service apply to all customers who contact us, request a quote, or receive service from us.
We provide residential, commercial, and automotive locksmith services on a mobile basis throughout Surrey, BC and the surrounding territory. Services include but are not limited to: emergency lockouts, lock changes and rekeying, car key replacement and programming, smart lock installation, door repair, safe services, and master key systems.
All services are carried out by licensed technicians. We do not use unlicensed subcontractors for on-site work. Service scope and applicable rates are confirmed verbally or in writing before work begins — we do not start a job without your agreement on scope.
Any quote provided over the phone or by email is an estimate based on the information you supply. Final pricing may differ if the job scope changes once a technician is on site — for example, if additional hardware is needed or the situation is more complex than described. We will always tell you the revised price before proceeding. You are never obligated to proceed if you do not agree with an updated quote.
Prices are in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. A service call or dispatch fee may apply and will be disclosed before dispatch.
Payment is due on completion of the work unless you have a prior credit account arrangement with us. We accept major credit cards and debit. Cash is accepted. Cheques are accepted from established commercial accounts only.
For commercial accounts or large projects, invoice terms are net 15 days from the invoice date unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Overdue balances accrue interest at the rate permitted under British Columbia law.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call us at 604-900-8174 as early as possible. Cancellations made after a technician has been dispatched and is en route may attract a dispatch fee to cover the technician's time and travel. We will tell you if this applies when you cancel.
By requesting service you confirm that you are the property owner, an authorized tenant, or an authorized agent of the owner or tenant — and that you have the right to authorize the locksmith work requested. Providing false information to obtain access to a property you are not authorized to enter is a criminal offence. We reserve the right to decline service if we have reasonable grounds to doubt authorization.
You agree to provide a safe working environment for our technicians and to ensure that access to the relevant doors, locks, or vehicles is reasonably unobstructed.
We carry liability insurance appropriate for a licensed locksmith operation in British Columbia. Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for those services. We are not liable for pre-existing damage to locks, doors, or vehicles, or for damage that results from a lock or door that was already compromised before we arrived.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable BC or Canadian law.
We stand behind our work. If a lock, key, or component we installed or adjusted fails due to a workmanship defect within 30 days of service, we will return and correct it at no additional charge. This warranty does not cover hardware failures unrelated to installation, damage caused by misuse, or issues arising after someone else has worked on the same lock or mechanism.
Hardware and parts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, where applicable. We can assist in processing a warranty claim on your behalf.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to the courts of British Columbia.
